She released her debut single last year "For My Tittas" which put her on the map and on a fast and steady incline as a critical contributor to Australia’s musical landscape. She has performed at a number of iconic venues including the Sydney Opera House, Enmore Theatre and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne.

BARKAA's track "OUR LIVES MATTER" and her collaboration with brother DOBBY "I CAN'T BREATHE" highlighting Black Deaths In Custody, remain the unofficial anthems of Australia’s Bla(c)k Lives Matter protests. "I CAN'T BREATHE" also hit ABC’s RAGE and is currently being used throughout schools in Australia as material alongside curriculum to assist in educating students.

One year into her career, BARKAA has already made a name for herself with her powerful delivery and lyrics. Her live shows pack a punch, they are full of energy and raw intense emotion "with the power of her ancestors and her matriarchal upbringing driving her". - FBi Radio
