Until We're All Free (Official Music Video)

Stream Here: https://orcd.co/untilwereallfree ‘Until We're All Free brings together over 20 artists in response to the ongoing crisis of genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza. With a strong union of Palestinian, Arab, First Nations, and artists of colour, the song stands as a testament to the healing power of art that is deeply grounded in our shared realities. DOBBY - Dirrpi Yuin Patjulinya (Official Music Video)

Dirrpi Yuin Patjulinya is the first song from DOBBY's debut album: WARRANGU; River Story, out Friday, June 14th 2024. STREAM HERE: https://snd.click/dirrpi Directed by DOBBY Produced by Vyvienne Abla A.I. footage and animation prompted, generated and edited by Micke Morphingaz of Eating Music. Content and footage credits used to generate AI: When the River Runs Dry, Nora & R.D. Productions Rory McLeod Luke Currie-Richardson Label: ABC Music Publishing: Sony Music Publishing SONG CREDITS Written and Produced by DOBBY aka/ Rhyan Clapham Mixed by Tom Garnett Mastered by Andrew Edgson Pied Butcherbird recorded on Ngemba lands. The music video for Dirrpi Yuin Patjulinya features AI Generated footage of animals and the Murray Darling Basin, as developed and coordinated by Micke Morphingaz. The video also includes real footage of the Murray Darling Basin as captured by Nora & R.D. Productions, Rory McLeod and Luke Currie-Richardson. These images document the severe drought that heavily impacted the Murray Darling during 2019. The combination of real and fake imagery of our rivers is intended to provoke thoughts about Country and question the authenticity of our connection with Country. In this video we champion both the natural beauty of Ngemba and Murrwarri Countries, as well as highlight the sheer damage that Westernised agriculture and floodplain harvesting has put upon our lands and waterways. On a hot morning in Brewarrina 2018, I recorded a beautiful Pied Butcher Bird calling from right outside my window at my Aunty Noeleen Shearer’s house. He forms the basis of the song, and I’ve provided some more music around his melody. “Dirrpi Yuin Patjulinya” means “The Bird Names Himself” in the local Ngemba language of Brewarrina NSW, as told and spoken by Brad Steadman. The bird sings a story of Country; land, water and sky, in the triumphant sound bed of strings and driving drums that help support this Pied Butcher Bird’s ancient flight across the Riverina.
